bdl vs sendero
« on: July 15, 2006, 12:30:59 PM »
I know if we all had our rathers we would pick the sendero. What are the pros and cons of each. Both being 700's with 26'' barrels. Can you get equal or close to equal results from the sporter barrel as the bull fluted. Have a never been shot bdl now, but may have a chance at a sendero. The sendero has only had two rounds fired thru it and it has never even had a scope mounted on it before. One of the local youngsters bought it a few years back and has done nothing with it. This is in the 300rum. I now have a 7mmrum in the sendero and love it. This 300rum will mainlly be for out west(lots of walking). but there is only < 1lb differance in weight. This gun will not be shot alot from the bench other than sighting in so other than heating up the barrel what's the main advantages of each.

thanks, DM
