Found FA 83 Rear Sight Assembly...
« on: July 15, 2006, 04:37:37 AM »
My scope is doing something odd, and I will need to send it back for service.  If anyone has any type of FA 83 rear sight they are not using, please let me know.  I am hopeful that I can transform this into an express front express rear, or maybe a fiberoptic front express rear.  Currently front sight is standard partridge (and it is a 7.5 inch barrel).  I would like a Premier grade adjustable rear.

Thanks to Steve P I now have a nice adjustable rear silhouette sight!

Still looking!  Does anyone have anything that would fit on the Model 83?  A Field Grade?  A piece of metal you've duct-taped to the top strap then filed a notch in?

Ya know ya could just contact FA and buy from them. By now surely you have the scope fixed if you were going to.

I think I still have a have a stock rear sight for FA that I could let go for about $75.  I think it is made by iron sight gun works.

email me @ shaggy357@aol.com if interested.  I'll dig it out.
