Anyone know of any hog hunting operations in Mississippi?  Would love to find an opportunity there!

I am in a small club in Jackson County, 1500 acres. We killed 63 hogs this past hunting season, October through February. I know the Pascagoula River Management Area, Red Creek Management Area and the Leaf River area is full of hogs.

One thing to remember when hunting the MA's, they make their own rules. What is legal in one may be illegal in another. Check the rule before hunting.

On private land you can use any weapon during any open gun season. As soon as squirrel season opens you can hunt hogs with a handgun, rifle or shotgun of any caliber or shot. I typically use a Ruger in 45 Colt.

ST,
Thank you for the info.  I am an archery hunter and would love to find a hog hunting area, other than TX, that is closer to AR.  Wouldn't mind paying a reasonable amount for the privilige.

How does one get information of possibilities of private land hunting?

Thanks,
