i want to get into the sport of cannnons, but have very little knowledge of how to purchase one. i do have a lot of experience with firearms and black powder shooting, although i do realize there is a big differance in firing cannons compared to firearms. i need your help in locating a good cannon. which companies make a good cannon at a affordable price? i found a web site for cannon ltd. these seem really nice, but once again i don't know whats good. i really like civil war era cannons. i like the parrott guns in full size, i do want a cannon in full size. any help from you all would be great!! also, i am willing to do some work to complete the cannon, but cannot spend the time to build a cannon from the ground up. i own a lot of property and have access to thousands of acres of rural property and plan on doing some extreme long range shooting. what cannon type is best for me?
