My new Sig 229 is a shooter.

I just picked up a Sig P229 in .357 Sig. I was putting it through its paces at the range. I shot 300 rounds with no problems what so ever. The first time shooting it was at 7 yards and I eat the bull out of the target. At 10 yards it shot the same. This is one accurate shooting gun, I should of expected it when I use to own a P239 9mm, it was a tack driver also. I just found my new carry gun, it is time for the Colt defender to go to my buddy that just loves it.

Ive never shot a Sig that wasn't a tack driver, and thats going back to the mid 80s. When you match their inherent dependability with such awesome accuracy, ones confidence has nowhere to go but up, and that means everything when the chips are down(assuming one doesnt take it to the "cocky" level).

Im thinking about getting the smaller 239 in .40, thats as small as I'll go but it felt good in my hand, Id like to put a few rounds through one to see how it handles. Soon I may be walking around wearing a 226, 229 and a 239   :eek:
