Glad to here your recovering from your surgery and your great achivements in your education

You have one of the finnest cartridge made in my opinion I have owned many great guns, and cartridges but the 7mmwsm is the finnest, its only sad to think it could die, its the Ghost of Jack Oconnor that makes the .270wsm, outsell the 7mmwsm in North America its sure not because its a better bullet,
You might enjoy this story on another site, its is very good and it might just confirm that you might have the cartridge of choice in coming time.
www.6mmpc.com and look in gun of week # 64 Ric Horst's 7mmwsm it is amazing how this gun shot of the sticks, I use the same powder as he uses H4831sc 140gr noslers, I tryed 4350, all guns not the same shot good but not great, magpro, so so in my gun but got under .125" three shots with the 4831sc
Good luck

You start getting under .125" & it is hard to measure, good shooting!!!
I am curious about your velocity.

It is unfortunate that this cartridge came out later than the 270, as with the
shoulder slightly forward it holds a little more powder & with the 7mm, you
have access to better long range bullets. The 270WSM is great, but I like this one better & yes it may disappear.
You will not make peace with the Bluecoats, you are free to go.
