m44 key holes

i had a m44 with a 83/8  barrell that shot  really great  but  traded for a 6in model  that i can handle  better i shoot cast bullets  240/250grain  like the 250 best  but at least 2/3  will keyhole  at 25yards  out of every 6 been loading near max with h110  and   AA  no9   any help here
it has the ported barrel im lost on this  one
never to much gun

If it's new send it back and tell them you want a new gun. I bought one of the 12" barrel M44s and it key holed every thing I shot thru it at 25 yards. In a cylinder there would usually be two fully side ways, two nearly so and two that looked almost proper. It took forever but I finally got a replacement.

I've been telling you guys about the lack of quality coming out of Taurus now for well over a year and yet folks just keep buying and just keep finding out I'm telling it like it is. The only thing worse than their quality is their willingness to fix the junk.
