Anyone know if the front sight on the pre-81 blr's are screwed on or sweated on? I have never tried to remove one and am curious. Thanks, Byron

No screws on mine, I removed the sight insert, the ramp is apparently sweated on.

Thanks, Thats what I suspected but never took the time to drive the front sight out of the dovetail. Thanks again, Byron
