Win. 1885LTD Creedmoor 45-90 BPCR Introduced

Some time ago I mentioned that USRA (Winchester) was planning a limited run of 1885 .45-90 Creedmoor rifles.  Well, they have been delivered to Davidson’s (the exclusive distributor) and are on the way to Davidson’s customers.  All 126 rifles are on allocation (committed at this time to Davidson’s customers)

Except for the manufacturers name, they are identical to the Browning Creedmoor.  I’ve discussed the rifles with Davidson and with Winchester.  They feature a 34” ½ octagon ½ round Badger barrel, and adjustable front sight and rear soul silhouette sights manufactured by Advance Manufacturing Technology (AMT).  The sights are identical to those supplied with the Browning Creedmoor, except the rear sight base will not have the name Browning.  Suggested retail price is $2,617.19.

Just received a couple of examples for evaluation and resale.  The fit and finish is excellent, as is the quality of the wood.  Except for Winchester’s name, the rifle is identical in every way to the sought after and very hard to find Browning Creedmoor.  One improvement, which is obvious, is the action case colors are more brilliant and attractive.
