I have contacted F.A. on several occasions, spoken with the kind lady who answers the phone and the shop forman. I am asking for the short octagon barrel, 4 3/4, fixed rear sight grove, with the delete the front sight option in .475 caliber. It seems that there are no production codes for a fixed sight .475, regardless of it's configuration, so the answer is NO. The shop forman says Bob Baker says NO!! No fixed sight .475. I can think of no better general purpose, close range, high mountain, toothy critter, all around packin pistol. I will have a custom carbon blue steel front sight dovetailed to the barrel. Duston Linebaugh is getting close to 2500$ for this very same thing on your fixed sight Vaquero. Go figure!  F.A. says NO!

Supply and demand.  Not enough demand for a fixed-sight 475 to justify offering them.

I have not checked to see if the new 500 WE is available with fixed sights or not.  But I shot one a good bit last week in 4" round butt configuration, with adjustable sights - now I have to have one.
