I spied two different spotted fawns with their mothers today while driving. It was truly wonderful to see. I hope that this year's rain will result in low fawn mortality and a good mast crop this fall. Maybe a little off the subject matter for this forum, but watching Mother Nature replenish herself is a pretty cool thing.
