NY State Senate pushing extended deer season...
« on: June 04, 2006, 06:05:08 PM »
The NY State Senate is pushing for an extension to the current whitetail season.  It is not clear what areas would be covered but it seems that they are going to focus on the downstate areas of Hudson Valley and Long Island areas...Check out the link:

Our whitetail crop in Catt county seems to have been curtailed a bit in the last couple years...some are blaming the increase in coyotes..what do you think ?

To be honest Ironglow I believe that the coyote population may be down a bit in my area of Catt. Co. I haven't seen as many this year as in past years. I have also seen quite a few more deer this year than in the past couple for years. I have also seen many more rabbits this year than I have seen since I was a kid.

Just out of curiousity has anyone else noticed an increase in bunnies this year?
