wax based sizing lube

What is the best/easy way to remove wax based sizing lube, specifically Lee's from loaded ammo.

Never thought Lees lube was wax, I just wipe mine off with a rag.  Larry

I use a thick, heavy napped old bath towel with a sprinkle of mineral spirits or lacquer thinner solvent.  Dump a couple hundred cartridges onto the center, grab the corners together and toss/rubb the whole mess for a minute.  Removes lube, fingerprints, and bullet lubricant.

Thanks for the tips. This wax base lube left such a mess on my Dillion 550 I may never use it again. The lube leaves shavings on the shell plate from the sizing die and makes a huge sticky mess. Lee may make more than one type of case lube, this stuff comes in a tube and looks like tooth paste.

If you have lube coming off like that you might be using a bit too much.
I could tell you what I use but then you would stick a case and I would get all the blame. I haven't used any heavy lube since I couldn't find my RCBS brand of STP and I won't use it again.

Ditto on the mineral spirits. Works great on removing lube and a little in the tumbler media makes cases look brand new too.

try Hornady One Shot. it's a spray, wax-based lube that works great for me.

Get yourself some denatured alchohol. Find it at your hardware store in the paint department. It cuts any lube I've ever tryed it on.

As for the lube to use in a dillion, I use the RCBS case slick spray lube when I'm loading rifle in my 650. Then I tumble the loaded rounds in untreated corn-cob to remove the lube.
