Is savage still making a lever action or did that die with the model 99?

I'm pretty sure the lever action savage is not being manufactured anymore.

Unfortunately, the Savage 99 went the way of the Buffalo.
     The good news is, I have (2) of those Buffalo`s in my closet.

Sure would be nice if they made another '99 though, I would be in.  I like the idea of being able to use a variety of cartidges in the rifle (like pointy tipped ones) that are difficult to use in normal tube fed lever actions.  That rotary magazine is just too cool.  I do see them around from time to time and at reasonable prices.  Maybe some day they will be copied like the old winchesters.
