Bought my first CZ ~~ 452 Varmint in 17 Mach2
« on: May 12, 2006, 02:54:48 PM »
Guess I'm a new guy here to the CZ gang.

Haven't shot the rifle yet, but from what I've read all around the net they're pretty good shooters.  :-)

Plan on glassing it with a Bushnell Trophy 3 - 9 for now and have picked up a couple boxes each of Hornady and CCI.  CCI's were about 50 cents cheaper per box than the Hornady, hopefully they shoot as well or better.  Time will tell!

Triggers a little gritty, need to take that apart and give it a good work over.  Other than that I'm real happy with the quality and fit & finish.   8)

Congratulations on the new shooter. Post some paper after you get back from the range so we see how it did.

Been thinking about a HM2 myself, just havent decided what brand? Probably the CZ  :-)

search this forum and you will find my write up on doing a trigger job on it. Makes a world of difference. I also have the 17HM2 and love it.
