Best prices on CZ's?

Wanting to get a 527 in either the American or the Varmint in .204.

All the places around here want over 6 bills on both after all is said and done. Is this too much? Seems high to me. You all know who has better  prices? I have an FFL set up just need a better price. I want to glass it with a Leupold and the more i can save and put into the glass the better. Thanks. :D

Black Wolf --- Go to www.gunbroker.com and when the site comes up, type in CZ 527 in the search window. I would recommend Phil at CZ-Connection in Georgia. He goes by Ton-80 at that site and he has some very good deals going. I think he has a $25 shipping and handling charge.  I have bought five CZs from him. The only problem is, you get the pick of the draw rather than your pick when it comes to stocks. You can get either a drop-dead pretty Turkish Walnut stock, or you can get a plain jane fence post. I've been lucky. And with that, the best of luck to you. Tom Purdom

Gunbroker is good advice that is my source for cz's,  a local store carries them at   msrp pricing.  I know a person has to make a living but msrp pricing? A year ago I was browsing gunbroker right after Christmas and picked up a 550 in Win 270 for $400!  If you use gunbroker line up your FFL dealer in advance, they have a page were you enter your zip code and it gives you a list of transfer dealers in your area.

My last word of advice is don't bid until the last hour\minute.  I watched a rifle get posted though three different auctions with no takers.  They finally lowered their starting price and with 2 days left I bid on it.  I was the high bid until the final 4 hours when someone ran it up $200! I know that from seeing what it sold for.... That was more than I was willing to pay... guess what three days later the same rifle was back on the auction for the same starting price as last time.  This time I waited until the final 15 minutes before I bid and got the rifle for opening bid.  It's like playing poker... No I didn't b!t(h to customer service, buyer beware is plainly stated.  The transaction was handled smoothly so there was no reason to ruffle feathers.
Be kind to animals.... cook them properly.

This place has the best prices on CZ's that I have found anywhere. They have a huge selection in the store too so it's not like they have to order them and wait for it. The also have the most reasonable shipping prices found anywhere. Check them out and you will be surprised.

When I was shopping for a CZ 550 Safari Magnum, Cabela's had the best price on a 458 Lott compared to several sporting goods stores and even had a couple in the store to choose from.

Gunbroker is a good place to look as well.  There was a very reasonably price CZ 550 in 416 Rigby for awhile but I couldn't justify 2 elephant guns.

Try eBay for Leupold scopes.  I'm only divulging this information since I now have all the Leupold scopes I need (3 extras with no guns to put them on).  I won't be bidding on any more for awhile.

In any auction, it's very important to shop first so you know what things are worth and a good deal when you see one or you may end up paying more than you could get the item for new at your local sporting goods store.

Thanks for the help fellas. I met a really cool dealer today at a shop about 30 miles from me that i had not been to before.

He can get me a 527 Varmint in.204 for $507 FINAL. I ended up picking up a Bushmaster AR .223 from him today so i'm going to hold off on the .204 and order it in about a week or so.

Thanks again for the help, i appreciate it. :D
