Scout Scope For A Mosin 44

I have a Mosin 44 that I bought at a gun show.  I have been shooting old surplus ammo and some S&B through it.  With iron sights this gun shoots beautifully, all shots in a 3" circle.  I have a scout scope mount for it and would like some input on what type of scope to install.

I would get something along the line of a Tasco. It doesn't have to be anything spendy as long as your eye relief lines up.

I tried a ncstar ler scope on my m44 and the cross hairs curlled up
like fryed bacon. To much recoil i guess but waching the fireball thru it
sure was cool  :)
