Think of it this way, if you throw a baseball 40 feet it will be at eye level 3 or 4 feet out and again at 35 feet maybe. If you throw it 80 feet it will be eye level 3 or 4 feet out and again at 75 feet. That's assuming you threw with the same velocity, the arc of the ball would have to be higher to get out 80 feet. Your bullet is the same way. The sixty yard thing is the problem. Sight it in a couple of inches high at 25 yards and you will be on at about 125, depending on the velocity of your round.
