bluegills are snapping...

up here big time thru the ice.   guys are getting big  catches of 8-11 ounce gills on several of the bigger lakes in the area.  this is typically a good time of year to catch them thru the ice,  but i personally dont like it because the ice starts getting soft and you dont know when it is going to go.

guy i work with has been gettng his limit of bluegills within a hour of setting foot on the ice.  every night after work.   too bad i am not comfortable with ice conditions out there now.
