I hope they don't discontinue ammo sales. Nobody else in my town sells ammunition

A prediction, Within a year Remington will be taking the same route winchester has recently taken.

Some have already been selling at a discount, but alas, I didn't find any of them.

OK, what I'm about to write is based on info said to me by sporting goods Dept. mgr in my local Wal-mart several weeks ago.  My store will continue to sell firearms.  Firearms in stores that will not continue to sell them will return guns to Wal-Mart distributions centers.  Then the guns will be sent to Wal-marts still selling guns to be sold at discounted prices.  How much a discount, not known.  When this will occur, not known.  The sporting goods Dept. mgr also said, he expected to receive gun inventory from at least 5 stores to sell.  Since my initial conversation, I have been monitoring my local Wal-Mart that will continue to sell guns.  Spoke with sporting goods clerk yesterday about arrival of discounted guns.  Clerk said they still don't know when they will get them, but he knew that these guns were now being shown in their computer system.  Also said, now that they were in the system, he personally expected them within next 2 to 3 weeks.  Mind you, this was a relatively new sporting goods clerk who may not know what he was talking about.

So you bargain gun hunters, keep your crosshairs on your Wal-marts that will continue to sell guns.  Gun season may be starting shortly.
