I was in a shop the other day and saw a used Ruger model 77 RSI in a 270.  I've always loved manlicher stocks.  Has anyone had any experience with these rifles?  18 inch barrel makes a great carry gun but I already have a Remington Mohawk in 308.  That said I don't have a rifle in a 270.  I've never heard great things about Ruger accuracy (my apologies to the Ruger owners out there) but I think they do make great looking rifles.  Thanks for your opinions.

Brother #1, has one in 7-08.  He plans on starting his son out with it.  I have not heard him comment on the accuracy.  A nice looking firearm.

I've no experience with the RSI version of the M77 but those that I had contact with were usually well made. The older top tang models were in my opinion better made.. the newer MKII version has had some quality control problems in my experience. All are wonderfully strong..
