I just read that Remington is announcing the model 798, a mauser-style actioned rifle. Anybody got info on this?
Also read that Browning is re-introducing the T-bolt .22 rifle.

Remington seems to have outbid CharlesDaly for the M98 line as well as the bolt action 22 rifle line that Daly had been importing from Zastava. I don't know the extent of the detail used in copying the M98 and their quality.

Just looked at the Remington specs on it. Sounds like a piece of crap made by unthinking designers: a 7 pound 458 magnum? Whose idea was that?
