Author Topic: Removing bolt handle from a CZ 712? (Read 1010 times)

I've been trying to remove the bolt from my CZ712 for cleaning, and I've had no luck at all. The handle is what's keeping it in. Only other semi-auto I've ever removed a handle for is a Remington 11-48, and on it, I just pulled the handle out with pliers, then pushed it back in when I needed to. No luck trying this with the 712. Pulled and pulled and it didn't budge.

Anybody know how to remove the bolt handle so I can ge the bolt out of the action?

dunno if it will help but my Browning Gold's handle doesn't come off until you take the whole damn bolt out of the gun...maybe that's what you have to do...slide the bolt backward or forward while the trigger assembly is out of the gun?

How do you get the bolt out with the handle still attached? I've gotten the trigger group removed and fiddled with it for an hour or so with no luck

i dunno...maybe take the trigger group out and then rotate the bolt so the handle faces up more and slide it down through the receiver? see what i mean?
