Do Stevens 200 rifles take aftermarket triggers such as Timney or Jewell?
Thanks.

Yes any trigger that fits on a Savage 110 or any variants except the Accutrigger models. Among others you have a choice of SharpShooter Supply, Rifle Basix, Timney.

Stevens 200 = Savage 110 pre-Accutrigger

Stocks, bolts, barrels, barrel nuts, triggers, mounts

While mostly true, one thing that is the same is the receiver shape. When buying scape bases for the Stevens, you want round-receiver bases both front and rear. There is a lot of mis-information about this. My Stevens 200 works fine with Savage 10/110 round receiver bases.

I had a Savage 116 pre Accutrigger trigger, reworked by a gunsmith. It came out very crisp and hunting light. May want to consider rework rather than replacement.
Hunting and fishing are not matters of life or death. They are much more important than that.

stevens 200 trigger......

I've done 3 replacements....2 on savage actions one on stevens 200 ..I cant say enough good things about rifle basic & RB sav-2 triggers...the SAV-2 model is expensive..but it is a fine choice for a gun u like...I only use that model on varmint or bench shooting rifles...once u get the bracket hung & the safety working smoothly the rest of the install goes easy...the cd disc  provided is a good set of instructions...If u look closely all the parts in the vid have been worked/polished smooth surfaces ..The ears on the bracket & the mating surfaces of your sear need to be riding nicely on each other..Not hard to do but if u cant polish those parts smooth forget installing yourself...Be careful of your sear/trigger pin [the big one]..Dont force it thru the bracket , scuffing up that part won't make your trigger better...then u just learn to adjust it...not hard...the results will surprize you...I did a timney on winchester & a remington action...not fair to compare a timney costing under 75 to a trigger costing 140 but the sav-2 kicks butt....mike in ct
