Are the pelts fleshed and dried? Either tan the hide or rub some mink oil into the flesh side than cut about a 3/8 to 1/2 inch wide strip about 4 or 5 inches long. Seperate the bow string in half about 6 to 8 inches from the end of string and insert one end of the strip into the string. Wrap the hide tightly around the string with the fur side out and insert the remaining end into the string. Of course I should have mentioned that the bow should be strung while doing this. You can wrap some serving string around both ends to help hold the fur in place or just give the bow string a few twists from either loop end and this should keep it in place. Beaver makes the best fur silencers because of the oils beaver put on their fur makes them shed water very well. I have used mink and ground hog with good results as well. Worm
