I happened across one of these this weekend. It looks similar to a Mod 110. It was marked as a Stevens and was in .30-06. I think it was marked as a Mod 100, but I don't recall exactly. It had pressed checkering and a .30-06 cartridge bottom embedded in the underside of the stock.
Can anyone offer any historical info? Perhaps what year(s) it was made?
I can find nothing regarding older Stevens built by Savage.
