powerguy, Yes and no. I had a problem with my A-bolt not firing when the safety was pushed off. Had to operate it a few times and you never knew just if it would fire. Kind of makes ya aware of any flinch ya might have. Anyway, I found the problem and it is quite simple to remedy. Remove the bolt and operate the safety. You will notice two pins that move up and down when the safety is moved. One is in the bolt notch, right under the bolt handle and the other is by the sear. On mine, the one by the sear looked like it was being lowered hydraulically when the safety went off. In other words, veeeeeerrrrrrryyyyy slowly. This was keeping the safety on and the sear blocked. A little brake cleaner on both pins and some vigourous working of the safety (with the bolt still out, of course) cured the problem. I somehow got those pins gunked up and working slow. Keep em clean and when you work the safety, they will snap too just like a good soldier! Hope this helps.
