A-bolt w/boss

I am looking at an a-bolt Medallion 30-06 with boss. Is the boss worth the extra money? I don't have any experence with muzzle brakes are they as loud as everyone says?

I have that rifle and really like it. I do not find the extra noise to be a problem as I wear good ear protection. The 30-06 is the one cartridge that I load more than one bullet weight and for me this is where the Boss really shines. I just dial in the sweet spot for each weight

I have only had experience with 2 different A-Bolts.  Both were Stainless Stalkers, one in 7m-08 and the other in 280.

Both these rifles shot well under MOA with most anything you shot thru them.  I would not go with the boss just because I don't see the need (with my limited experience).
