Rounded Bottoms

I had an idea on making the bottom of my powder chambers radiused. Here's what I came up with.  I took a regular twist drill and freehand ground a radius on the business end of it. I didn't even use a gauge, just my trained eye. Now when I drill a hole I save the last 1/2" or so for this little guy. The second picture shows the clearence that I had to grind to get it to cut good.

I did that to one of my spade drill bits - ahhhh - ok - it was after I ran it a little too fast and burned the corners.

Looks like a ball nose end mill now, which is how I do hemispherical chambers.  The problem comes when trying to do the bottom of an unchambered piece as there isn't room for the end mill holder.  Then a round corner silver and deming drill is useful with its undersize shank.
