I just bought a Steyr Safebolt Hunter from a friend in .243.
Took it out t the range on Saturday and the thing would shoot anything you shot through it. I mean MOA with a handload that I use for my Savage Model 12.
I got it from him for $400.00 with a scope and a hard plastic gun case and about 60 rounds of ammo.
Just wondering if anybody else shoots this rifle?

zero it at 500 yards and take it to hooker!!!!

I have a Steyr M-III Professional. I believe it is the model prior to the one you have. I absolutely love it. Wish I could find another.

That's exactly what I plan on doing, take it to Hooker.
Sure wished you were coming out there to join us.
Loaded some 55gr. Nosler BT's last night. Hoping for those 500yd. hits. :wink:

That looks just like it but with a longer barrel. Mine has the 23.6 inch barrel. Which I wanted a longer barrel anyway.
