American Arms Over/Under

I saw a real nice 12 ga O/U in the gun shop made by American Arms. It was the National Wildlife Turkey Federation model and had a real low serial number, like 082. Anyone know anything about American Arms? I couldn't find them on the web. Are they any good? This one was real nice. Any idea what it might we worth?

Not sure if they are still being imported these days. I had one in 28 ga. long ago and man was it light as a feather. I tried it on skeet and sporting clays and couldn't hit a bull in the butt with it. I'm talking at best I'd do 40% or less of my normal 28 ga. scores with it. Most of the time much less.

The action was a bit rough and needed some smoothing up but otherwise it was an OK gun. Why me and it couldn't hit I'm not sure as I didn't keep it long enough to find out. They were low priced guns as I recall I only paid about $200 for it used and that was perhaps 15-20 years ago. Can't recall exactly. I'd not put over $500 in one today if I were you.

Company is defunct.  Thier O/Us were made in both Italy and Spain.  My son has one of each and the ones made by Fautsi of Italy are much nicer and of higher quality.  Now that's my humble opinion, but seeing both those guns were originally mine before I gave them to my son, I have had experience with them.
