The 10 fp that I own in 223 will shoot 1 inch groups in 40, 50 and 55 grain ammo. Using vmaxes and hollow points which seem to hold tighter than soft points.  I'm really happy with it.

With the right load, sub MOA should be easy to achieve in these rifles.

Thanks sub moa sounds a hole lot better should I expect that with the 300? is there a place here where I can look at some starting loads for the 300 mag and the 223 ? I know they all shoot diffrent but I for the 300 mag with 165, 180 bullet I like to start with a light load for the deer and pigs here and bump it up for out of state mulies and elk. The 223 well........ a non varmet bullet and load so to keep the pelt damage low.......just something to get me in the ball park. now the 223- 1/9 twist how big of a bullet will it or should stabeleise ?

As a general rule, for the fast 1:9 twist, heavier bullets are better (55 grains and up) though some folks report good accuracy with lighter bullets as well in their particular rig. For the 300, you'll have to try the loads you plan on using. In either case, you may find good loads right off the bat or have to experiment and determine what your rifle(s) like. Rifles can be individualistic and a load that works in one, may not work in another.

I've got a 110FP in 25-06. I can consisstantly group three shot in .75" with 120 grain Nosler Partitions. The groups would tighten up if I went to Accubonds or Ballistic Tips.
