Hi BryanOney :D

Yes, a excellent book call (MONSTER), by Frank Peretti. It is  fiction story, and can be found probably on E-bay, A copy was given to me, and I couldn`t put it down. I read it all in one reading, which I was up all night, seems like its 983 Pages.
Its about some people being found dead and bigfoot being the culprit, but it has a Alfred Hitchcock, ending.

Excellent reading, and one of the best todate, about bigfoot.

Hi Bryan Oney :D

I just viewed a DVD, last night called SASQUATCH HUNTERS (2005). It`s not to bad. from one to 5 stars, I`d give it a 2 and a half. Would have given it a 3 or maybe a 4 but that would be stretching it. A lot of the movie  (probably 20 minutes of it), is filmed to dark. Like when their being stalked in the woods by bigfoot. I rented it at a video place, its been out a while. It`s entertainy, though, so kick by and get the pop-corn out and have fun.

One of the best out period, is the famous, cult classic,---(LEGEND OF BOGGY CREEK). Its one of the best of the bigfoot pool of movies. It was made, like back in 1967?or in the mid 60`s. I not only have viewed, it but own it now. I recomment the DVD, version, not the VHS version. Reason?
because the DVD, shows up better, and you get a clearer picture. It was produced by Charles Pierce. What Charles Did was just amazing work on the true tales of the monster walking around Fouke Arkansas, back about 1961---? Basically he did a documentary and turned it into a cult classic.
He used the acutual people in the movie that, had witnessed the beast. He promised them a percentage of the movie. Once the movie hit the theaters, it grossed 14 million dollars, and Charley disappeard. They took him to court, and never got a dime. Cause he hid out in California.

Anyhow its an excellent movie, and you can buy it on E-bay.

Bryan,

The movie BM mentioned "Sasquatch Hunters" while being somewhat of a "B" grade in some of the special effects does contain some realistic technical aspects with regards to our (D.G., Todd, et. al.) observations in the field.  It does appear the movie's technical advisors had spent some time doing valid BF research.

BTW, BM what happened to the copy of this movie you made from my original last fall?  Sorry you had to rent it.

The book BM mentions (he'd loaned it to me) was entertaining although (IMHO) the author attempts to villify humans (for creating a "Frankenmonkey" BF) and Disneyfying the actual BF portrayed therein.  It should take reading at least the first third of it before you figure out the plot.

It's still better than watching Lawrence Welk on PBS!  :P

Hi Bryan.

One of the best books on the subject would be Sasquatch: North America's Great Ape, by Dr. John A. Bindernagel.

http://www.bigfootbiologist.org/page2.html

Another classic is Sasquatch, The Apes Among Us, by John Green.

Both of these books are worth having for the enthusiast and the hard core skeptic alike. They take a no-nonsense approach to the bigfoot/sasquatch phenomenon.

As for DVDs, I'd recommend Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science.

Hope that helps. :-)
