Since the gentlemen is in jail, it sounds like he is the type of person that the Bigfoot would not get along with, even if he had never fired a gun at them.  Once he fired that gun, he was pretty much toast.  The gentlemen most likely was competing for a common food source, and was most likely involved in poaching, given the remoteness of the location.  The Bigfoot are self appointed guardians of the forest and their friends in the forest.  Littlefoot are nearly as vicious, when some yahoo is found disrespecting the forest, the animals, the bigfoot, and even remote cemeteries.  So if the Fish & Game people don't get you, the Bigfoot may just take matters into their own hands.  And there is about one Bigfoot per 10 square miles of forest.  Which is about 100 times more than there are Fish & Game people.

Since there is no hard physical evidence yet to even PROVE the existence of bigfoot how can you so accurately tell us their density in critters per square miles? Where did the one per 10 sq. miles come from?

Most people look for reproducable proof that can be digitized and spread on the internet, so as to make it worthless.  Bigfoot does not like to be recorded, so that it difficult to obtain.  They make deliberate efforts to only make noise when nothing is recording them.  They can also turn off digital recorders.  They turned mine off.  But if we are not recording them, they do not have a problem proving to the people who are asking, that they are real.  They do this the only safe way that they can, with noise.  Bipedal noise, is the most convincing.  When men are present, they are not particularly interested in making themselves visible, so that they do not get shot.  With women present only, everything changes.  Then they are quite likely to make themselves visible, as in briefly dimension hop into our three dimensions.
What I do is use Bigfoot calls, go out in the woods at night, do multiple setups up and down a road, and count heads.  Based on the speaker coverage, I can come up with an approximate density.  Bigfoot make a small variety of noises, that include light footsteps, heavy footsteps, branch breaks, twig breaks, moving dirt, heavy exhaling, growling, laughing and faint electromagnet movement.  Stick Indians appear to just make branch creaking noise.  The Bigfoot also can give off self illuminating eyeshine, at close range.  Since they appear to know the local language, they are easy to communicate with.  But they will remain invisible and in another dimension for me.  How do I know that for sure?  Because on numerous occasions, they have tip toed in dense brush, up to a point only 15 feet in front of me, without making any other brush movement type noises.  And stayed there for quite some time.  I have night vision and can clearly see that they do not exist in our dimension.  But I can still hear the distinctive noises that are associated with their presence.  So they are easy to count, if they are willing to come close to you.  But they are clearly real, clearly invisible and clearly intelligent.

Don't make fun.  It's true.  I have seen grouse or coyote when in the woods and have jumped out to foot chase.  When I came back to my truck the radio station has been changed.

Several times when hunting I have spotted a deer, began to stalk silently, only to have the deer run away.  I sure didn't scare it, so something must have told it I was coming.

Many many times while in the woods I have heard sticks break, pinecones fall, scritching skittering noises and when not seeing anything, the hair on my head stood up.   Now I know what made the noises and the electromagnetic reaction to my hair.

I take my daughters riding quads in the wood frequently.  They are great riders so I am not concerned about letting them go off on their own.  I am going to make some fake guns to put in my gun racks so each quad is equipt with a "gun".  This should keep them safe.

Can you shoot from one dimension to the other?
Is out of body experience going to the other dimension?

I need to look into this further.  I am out in the woods too often and am missing out on the most exciting part.   As an adrenaline junky, I've got to get to the other side.....

I took a noob elk hunting about 4 years ago ,set him up on a ridge and told him to stay put,20 min later he calls me on the 2way having a fit about someone throwing rocks at him and he cant see anyone,it took me 30 sec to locate the squirell above him dropping pinecones out of the tree,I even heard some of that tree knocking in the same area, but we call that woodpeckers diggin in a hollow dead tree, not BF communicating with morris code... :-D  :D  :-D

Thanx GB I am finally official!I wish i has video of that day, when i got back to this guy he was holding his rifle to his chest like he was gonna have to use it to defend himself,i tried not to laugh but this guy couldnt handle being in the woods by himself and it became obvious I was going to have to hold his hand.I remember being a little kid camping out in a tent, staying up ALL night waiting for the bear to drag me off, scared by every little noise, thats what this guy reminded me of.
