Whos takin a trad turkey this year?

im planning on that this year and im way pumped about it.  i just got to get better wiith my mouth diaphragm call.  ive taken several with compound...im actually better with that inside 30 yards than with shotgun....but this is first time with turks with my recurve.

hell yea, trad to the end! i love to go chasing longbeards wit the long bow, you planning on sitting in a blind this season or runin and gunnin? ( well i guess not gunnin but you get it) had some luck with perminant blinds but this year ill see how location and interception works on them.

i sprained my index finger...im not sure if i can pull it off :x

im gonna try though....my season opens wednesday.

regardless, blind in the am and walkin in the mid-day hours....then blind in the pm.

Got this tom in May, in KS with my Longriver Elk longbow, cedar arrow and Magnus 135grn head, 11 yd from a pop up blind. I will be going back Nov 10-13 for another hunt in the same area. 24lbs, 1" spurs and 11" beard.
