good buy?

I have a chance to buy a tikka model 695 for $500 and was wondering if this was a good deal. It is chambered for 338 win mag. It is used, but in excellent condition. I can't find this model in my blue book or gun traders guide but it seems like a good deal to me. What does anybody think. Thanks for looking.

It depends on what model it is.  Wood and blue, synthetic and blue, or stainless etc... Tikka rifles , new, usually range from the mid-400.00 to the high 600.00's.  I would shoot it if possible because I would think that it might have quite a bit of recoil if it is in a lite rifle.
