Franchi Veloce?
« on: February 24, 2006, 02:46:23 PM »
I just stumbled across a Franchi Veloce (I think) in 28 ga, 26" barrels and an English stock.  It was super light and I had a hard time leaving without it.

Any experiences good or bad??

Thanks,

Mark

They are pretty but there is just something about those aluminum receivers that bothers me.

Howdy, I bought one 2 years ago. I have put 1000+ rnds through it with no problems. 28ga pistol grip. It has become my sunday gun for preserve shoots. I have used it for partidge, quail and pheasant. Performs just as well as any other 28ga. out there. Gun is made by Franchi in the factory that houses Beretta. Franchi will be discontinuing this line along with the Alcione. Beretta needed increased barrel production for its own line so it trimmed Franchi's down. If you can get it under 1200.00 grab it
