While stationed in Germany in the late 60's, I bought a M24 in 22mag/20ga. Came back from Germany and was stationed in Lakeside, Mont. While I was there, I traded off that M24 at a second hand store in Kalispell. That was about 1971.
In about 1978 I bought back the same rifle, same serial number. But I was living in Greeley, Colorado! Some guns just get around.
