Of the three you posted, I would go with the ruger 77 Mk II all weather. But if it were me,a nice Sako or Tikka. :D

I would definately go with the savage 110FP, you get the heavy barrel, accu-trigger and likely more accuracy than the other two for less money....

I have a 20 year old Mountain (BDL) that I think is terrific. I hear some negatives lately though on quality.
I was at a show recently. I asked what model my Mountain was. There were these guys in Remington gear, discussing ballistic coefficients, etc.
who were supposed to be the experts. They couldn't answer my question!
Finally a little old lady popped out from behind the Remington screen.
"If it's got a floorplate, then it's a BDL"! This was unbelievable to me that representatives of a company, at a trade show, would not know their product.

What is your primary purpose - varminting, deer, target shooting, or ???

I have three Rugers and one Remington that can shoot one-hole groups, and had one Savage.

Of the three you list I would lean toward the Ruger.

I have a Savage 110 FP in 25-06. I replaced the stock with a Bell and Carlson Duramax stock and it really improved the looks and made it a bit more accurate. I use it as my deer hunter for setting up in the morning or PM. It's definitely not a carry rifle. I have a couple lighter alternatives for carry rifles. The 25-06 is a great round.

I've had too much bad luck with Remington to buy another. Get the Savage first, Ruger second and no Rem. unless it is at least 10 yrs old.

Sounds like my gun. M77 Stainless steel synthetic stock in 25-06. Its a great hunting rifle. I have no complaints and would purchase an other. I have used it on everything from Mule Deer to Prairie dogs it's just a fun gun to shoot and own.

I have a Winchester model 70 in 270,a Winchester model 70 in 30-06,A 300 win mag.in Remington 700 CDL a Remington 700 VLS IN 22-250 and a 338 win mag in Ruger MK II model 77. My favorite is the Ruger.Regardless of what you've heard and for reasons unknown even to me,this is the second Ruger that I 've owned that shot 1-1/2" or less out of the box while I had to work on all the others to get them to do that.A lttle trigger work and my Ruger does even better then 1 inch, and now I have to find a load that it likes.
