rem bolt action 5 mm magnum?

has any one heard of a 5mm mag . on barrel it says 5mm and on pistol grip part of stock has plate on bottom an it says 5mm magnum .the shell looks tween 17 hmr , 22 lr ?  and are shell high .the gun is $225.00.black wood stock an fair blueing on barrel .is that fair price ?pawnlaws  got the gun traded for.

they dont make the gun or the bullets anymore...shells are close to $50 a box and the gun is not worth what they are asking for it.

try a 17HMR if you want a similar caliber for a lot less money.

I seriously doubt you'd find them at $50 a box anymore. They are strictly a collector's item.

BUT the good news is the rifle can be converted to a centerfire and the company that does it sells the cases, bullets ,dies and all the load data for it.

If you decide you're not interested how about PM'ing me the info on who has the gun with contact info. I loved mine and sure wish I'd not let it go when ammo got impossible to find. Back then there was no other ammo option available, now there is.

Ive never come across one. I read about it in a magazine about 10m years ago but forgot it existed until now.
