BLR receiver sights
« on: March 19, 2003, 12:16:26 PM »
I have a 70's model BLR.  The one where the bottom
of the magazine hangs below the receiver.  I have no
luck finding a receiver type sight for this gun.  Has any-
body ever located one ?
make the first shot count, 2 shots is 1 too many.

Have you tried Williams?  You might need to have a gunsmith drill and tap the receiver to install one.  But seems like Williams makes a sight for nearly any gun to be found.  Call them up if you have questions, they can be pretty helpful.

Have you looked at the Williams WGRS BAR. This is a sight that mounts in the rear scope mounting holes on top of the receiver. It will require a higher front sight but it is very compact and does not hang off of the side of the receiver. This sight is designed for the BAR but it fits my BLR. My BLR is the flush magazine version.
