Model 10 Scout
« on: January 29, 2006, 03:14:01 AM »
While at my local gun shop on Friday, I had put a deposit on a Model 12FV-S. I also spotted a rifle I never thought I'd see again, a Model 10 Scout in .308. It's similar to the Model 10 Sierra, same 20" barrel and same lightweight, but with a forward scope mount, oversized bolt, and ghost ring sights. I had looked for one of these several years ago and they had stopped making them, so I couldn't even order one. Well if I had the extra cash I would have dropped a deposit on this one as well as the model 12. I doubt I'll ever find another. The dealer was asking $399.99 for this NIB Scout rifle. I have no idea where he ever came across this NIB.

If you really want that rifle, talk with the dealer. If you are a good customer he may put it away for you. I know we had a gun shop around me, all I would have to do was call them and thell them what I wanted and they would order it for me and we would talk about payment latter

Rich,
I'm sorry to say that the dealer didn't have it any longer. I stopped by on my way home from work, and it's gone. That is unless you were able to call him and have him set it aside, which I hope is the case.
