I found a Sears model 53A 30-06 at a pawn shop. The gun looks in great shape. It has been collecting dust and I might be able to get it cheap.
From what I understand, the gun is a winchester model 70A private label for sears.
What is the difference between the Win. model 70 and 70A?
Anybody have any input on the Sears 53A?
