Looking at both of these rifles; anybody have experience with them and what are your thoughts?

I have a browing varmit stalker in .223 with the dura touch stock, I love it.  Mine shoots most loads pretty good and the loads i found that it really likes shoot very well, 6 shots in a dime at 100. I am very pleased with mine.

Being a Browning man, this is the second time I bought something outside of Browning. The first time was a Marlin 1895 - 45/7.

I purchased a T3 Varmint in 223 two week ago. I installed a Tasco 6-24 Varmint Scope for my fist range session. I have a Leupold Vxiii 4.5-14X on order.

I took the rifle to the range with some rounds (55 gr) I loaded for another 223. Here are the results:

1. It took me four rounds to get on paper.
2. The 55 gr FMJ three shot groups: 0.75” and 1.5” (with a flyer)
3. The VMax 55 gr with four separate loads – 3 shot groups: 0.45 (three holes touching), 0.7, 0.95 and 0.95.

The Varmint likes the 19.9 gr of H4198 55gr VMax best. Keep in mind these loads were developed for another rifle.

I like the T3 and think perhaps Tikka is more accurate rifle than Browning - a fun toy for me.

My vs in 204 ruger shoots like that too.  I have never bought a Tikka.  I try to do my best to avoid exploding guns.
