I am looking for a medium wieght varmint rifle. I want something accurate that won't overheat in 3 rounds, that weighs around 8 pounds. I don't want one of those 10 pound rifles because once I have my scope and bipod on, they will be too heavy for my style of coyote hunting.
I already decided I want a 223 Rem., and the rifle will be used mostly on coyotes and woodchucks. I was just curious if anyone has any suggestions or experience in this area.
