A group of fellow bigfoot hunters/researchers are planning an expedition in the North East for the Early Spring.  While I cannot divulge the location sufice it to say this is some prime bigfoot realestate.
I plan on carrying a bolt action rifle cambered in .35 Whelen shooting 250gr Hornady Bullets.
Others on the trip are still debating on their gun selection and I was wondering what any of you would suggest they take.

We know the buck bigfoot can reach upwards of 1000lbs.  So we want to maximize penetration with reliability.

God Bless and keep searching.
Hatchet Jack.

Hey hatchetjack :D

Since this forum is not exactly at the cutting edge of the business, let me help you boys out with this little problem that you are creating.  Bigfoot are not like anything else that you have ever heard of or could possibly imagine.  For starters, they communicate telepathically so they can read your mind like an open book.  Secondly, there are millions of them.  You can't find them because they are interdimensional.  Look it up in your dikshunnery.  You will then need interdimensional bullets for your interdimensional rifle.  Don't know how to make them?  Don't feel bad because nobody else does either.  And one more thing.  They are supernatural people, who can appear behind you with no warning whatsoever, and slap their hands together to collapse your skull into a very flat and messy and boney sandwich.  And do it all before you can say, "uh, oh"!  The problem that tribal officers have with them is that, the officers suddenly and inexplicable pass out for about a half hour, when caught out in the open and in the vicinity of one.  They got off lucky.  But hunters that are out deliberately going after them with guns, will not all be so lucky.  Some will not come back, nor will their bodies ever be found.
On the other hand, if you choose to make peace with the Bigfoot and not hunt or shoot at them, then they will let you live to go home to your families.  Indian tribes leave food in order to keep the Bigfoot friendly.  You should seriously consider that method, because, YOU KNOW NOT OF WHAT YOU ARE MESSING WITH!

I would say me and probably most of the serious posters on here are way beyound the cutting edge. I`ve been doing it for 17 years. If you got the time,---go to my name and click it on, and it will take you to my old stories, and encounters. There`s more than a few of us, that have had personel encounters. We take great pride in our knowledge that we have found out about the bigfoot creature.

I live in an old indian cemetary, thats way before statehood. Their are large populations of Cherokees, and plain indians all around me, and I sit for hours, listening to their tales. They all know about bigfoot. All of them have the same consenses, its a animal---pure and simple. Not a shape shifter, or ghost or anything from another planet. But a strange beast that has avoided contact with the white man for a long---long time. Till now. Before statehood, ---there have always been reported sightings, of a strange hairy creature. Some have been shot and killed, and left to rot,  in the olden days, cause the white man thought maybe, it was a evil spirit, and others didnt want it to be seen, as to frighten the children and women folk, so they left them to rot, and sometimes buried them so as not to be found.
With civilization ever expanding, its only natural that more will be seen by people, mainly hunters, or people who work outdoors. It will be shortly that one will be shot and killed to prove to exist. I already have the pictures to verify, that the animal does indeed exist.

bullet maker,  sounds like your Indian compadres, have it all wrong.  They are people because they understand English and can respond exactly to complicated tasks that are communicated to them in English.
That is why they are so difficult to find.  Because most people believe that they are another dumb animal and can be simply hunted like a dumb animal.  They are very much paranormal.

Please elaborate on the "and can respond exactly to complicated tasks that are communicated to them in English" portion of your comments...........

Pardon me but that implies some very direct and lengthy contact and observation of BF....... and I've never heard of any such thing.....
