i went out and bought a new huntsman this past week
this is the first ml i have ever owned
didnt know squat abt it but after reading the manual that came with it i took it out and shot it abt a dozen times yesterday
first off i got it for 160 out the door including a box of shockwaves and a box of 350 grain lead maxi hunters not to bad i think
i loaded her up with 90 grains of loose 777 and one of the shock waves
she put two holes touching at 50 yards but they both hit abt three inches low
so i raised the rear sight up a some and got her to hitting a three inch bull at 50yds so i moved out to 100yds and she hit abt an inch above the bull with two shots abt 3/4 inch apart
then i used the front sight to completely cover a 14inch steel plate hanging in a hay ring at 200yds and hit it deadcenter ringing it like a church bell
what got me on it was that i could shoot it 5 or 6 times before cleaning it and it didnt lose any accuracy and it seemed easier to push the shockwave down the barrel with the barrel dirty
i cleaned it and the next bullet was hard to push down
i just have to remember to loosen the breech plug abt every other shot to make sure it doesnt lock up on me
all in all im very impressed with the performance of my huntsman
so were my two shootin pards they are planning to go out and buy one this week
