Was looking at a CZ varmint rifle in a .17 Rem. Just wondered what some of your alls experience was with this gun. Heard lots of great things about CZ and always wanted a .17 centerfire.

I have never fired the .17 Rem in the CZ but from what I have read about it, you can expect just as good things with that caliber as you can all the others -

Heard lots about CZ rifles but have no experience personally. Think it might be time to join the club.

I have a CZ Varmint in .17 Remington. How accurate it is depends a lot on the cartridges I'm shooting.
Factory loads shoot about 3 inch groups @ 100 yards.
Handloads shoot right around 3/8ths inch groups @ 100 yards.
The main difference? How far out the bullet is seated. The bullet on my handloads is seated about an eighth inch longer than factory loads.
They're fine rifles IMO, and well worth the money.
