I have quick one, for ya'll, when I load my 7mm-08, if the action opens up to far the case slips past the ejector and and the rim does not catch. the ejector ends up behind the head of the case. Any suggestions.

You have one of the new extractor type of barrels. I can't tell you much, I don't have one, but I have seen this mentioned exactly as you say on this site. When you close the action does the extractor easily go over the edge of the cartridge and into the grove? Larry

If you have one of the late model ejectors(not extractors), the lift button spring could be broken or missing if it's always done it.

Mine does that, but ejects okay..........

It ejects great, I mean it throws the cases with authority.

I just looked at it again and if I open the action past the point where the case is ejected the ejector actually drops a little. If at that point I put a round in, the case slips right over the top of the ejector.

If I close it enough for the ejector to make contact with the breech face (for lack of a proper term) it puts enough pressure against the ejector lifting it to where it should be and it catches the rim of the case. thanks for the help, sherppa
