The inverted crown seats the rifling farther away from the end of the barrel. This helps prevent accidental crown damage. ItÂ’s not uncommon to find custom guns with good deep crowns rather they refer to them as inverted or not. Some people may or may not think itÂ’s worth the money but I personally like the inverted crown.
